The aims of this training is to ensure that delegates gain the required knowledge and understanding of the particular hazards and properties of a compressed air emergency breathing system (CA-EBS) and appropriate practical emergency response actions to take should the requirement for emergency deployment arise.

Encouraged participation of delegates with interaction by questioning, practical exercises, videos and simulations.
PHYSICAL AND STRESSFUL DEMANDS
Training activities contained within the OPITO standards may include physically demanding and potentially stressful elements. All personnel who participate must be physically and mentally capable of participating fully. The Centre shall keep a record of the delegate’s/candidate’s declaration of fitness in accordance with their document control policy or procedures.
