Since last August 29th tll September 1st, the Norwegian city of Stavanger become the world center for the offshore and oil & gas industry. The ONS Fair, which is held every two years, brings together more than 1,300 exhibitors and 90,000 visitors each edition, making it a must appointment in the international commercial agendas of the sector.
As usual in the recent editions, Grupo Stier has been present offering specialized training services in the sector. Endorsed by the quality granted by the international certification of the OPITO and a priviledged geostrategic situation of the Canary Islands between three continents, the training center has captured the interest of many companies appreciating the value that this type of training programs contributes to the efforts of island ports to become a world referent for companies operating in the area.
In addition to training services, Grupo Stier has been presenting its agency services for the oil sector. The negotiating and operational capacity of the company has been evident in the recent arrival of the oil rig SSV Catarina (Petroserv). With this first arrival, Grupo Stier has made the Brazilian shipowner use the Port of La Luz in its hub for repairing the rigs operating in the area.
